Welcome to the online home of Milnsbridge Baptist Church.

The church has been part of the local community since 1843, but our current building opened in 2004.  The building is open most days for one event or another, and we’re fairly confident that there’s something on offer for everyone.

The centre of our church life is meeting together on a Sunday at 10.30am for Morning Worship. As we gather we sing, read scripture and apply it to our lives. We believe that as people together at church we are a big family and we find being together a huge encouragement and support.

The Bible says that God loves us beyond words and more than we can believe, and that he offers us a chance to live a new life.

Below we’ve got a list of our activities that run midweek. We’re going to expand our website to include links to our friends and partners locally, and we’d love to invite you to join us and see if there’s something at Milnsbridge Baptist Church for you...

Weekly Events at Church

 

LITTLE FISHES runs on a Tuesday from 10am to 11.30 am and is a drop in for all preschool children and their parents.

It’s 50p per session and its fun with toys, activities, songs and a snack.

 

For 6-11’s we meet at SMARTIE PARTY for an hour and a half of fun, games, activities, craft and story-telling every Thursday from 5pm to 6:30pm. Sessions are free for everyone.

 

11-14’s meet on a Wednesday night from 6:45-8pm for MOMENTUM each week for chill and chat. We have a Wii, Pool, games and tuck shop. It’s 50p per session and is great fun.

 

For the over-65’s we have launched TWIRLIES. Twirlies meet every other Friday from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and we offer various activities along with a drink and a chance to sit and chat. We’re looking to bring in services who might be able to help you in some of the challenges of living life.

 

On the third Friday of each month we open church up for Film Night and a family film from 6pm.

 

Children’s and Young People’s activities run during term times only....

Our Minister is Mike Roberts (pictured above), who has been at Milnsbridge since September 2005. Mike helps lead many of the midweek activities and is active in local schools and working with community groups.
